The design of The Waterbury Plaid Hat was inspired by our travels to Waterbury, Vermont and the colors of their downtown historical buildings. Painted in rich neutral colors, the variation of the buildings created the visual appearance of a plaid pattern.
 
Skill Level - This is an easy to intermediate level knitting pattern. Techniques used are the knit and purl stitches, increasing and decreasing, working in the round and carrying and floating 3 colors of yarn.
 
Sizing - This is a relaxed fitting hat design.
