KNIT PATTERN: Casco Bay Mariner's Hat

The design of the Casco Bay Mariner’s Hat was inspired by our travels to Portland, Maine and
our kayaking trip around the islands off the coast of Maine. This hat uses a rib stitch pattern
that resembles the fisherman rib stitch but with a twist, creating a design that reflects the
beauty of the tall pines and deep forest surrounding the coastline of the islands.
 
Skill Level - This is an easy level knitting pattern. Techniques used are the knit and purl stitches, SSP, SSK, K2tog and P2tog.
